Creating Private Sessions

Read onwards for an overview of Somble Private Sessions. As always, we recommend trying out the feature yourself and learning as you go - we've built Somble to teach you the steps as you do them and you can chat us directly with questions at any time. Plus, we add features constantly, some of which may not be reflected below.

Use Case:

For coaches who have discussed session timing with their client already and need a reliable way to track bookings, send reminders, take payment, and manage packages.

Alternatively, if you want to create a calendar full of availability for clients to book as needed, use the "Schedule Group Classes" feature and set attendee cap to 1. Each class you schedule will become a bookable time block and you'll be notified when a client books.

What do you need to know about Private Sessions

  • Private sessions can be virtual or in-person.
  • Private sessions are scheduled on your calendar, but invisible to anyone except you and your client.
  • Once you schedule the session, send the session link to your client. When they book it they will be able to see it on your calendar.
  • If your client is on a package, you can book them into class yourself via "Add Attendee". Credits will be removed with each booking.
  • You can dock credits post-session if needed via Membership Management.
  • Clients will be sent reminders before each session.

If sessions for a client occur at the same time each week (even if they are on different days), we recommend using the "make recurring class series" option in the session scheduler.

Need to put your client on a Private Package or Subscription too?

  • When creating your membership, you can use the "Custom Offering" tool to tie the membership to the specific Class Series you created earlier. This will make sure their credits or subscription only work for their private training sessions, and not any other classes or content.

Once you have your membership made and your sessions scheduled, send your clients links to each. They can join the membership and start signing up for sessions.
