Content Flagging
Somble is a community - and we appreciate the work our community does to keep the platform safe, friendly, and accessible. Flagging content is an integral part of this system.
Why do we flag
More than anything, we want to give Creators a space to create fitness and wellness content, and users a place to consume that content. But we also want to give Creators the freedom to post their own style - there’s no playbook for what Somble fitness and wellness content needs to look like, it just needs to be fitness and wellness content. With freedom comes great responsibility, and this space needs to be safe. A flagging system allows us to monitor for inappropriate content, while allowing our Creators to create how they want.
Types of flags
Whether you’re browsing or watching content, you’ll see a flag option in either the video pop-out (under Settings) or the video page. If you feel this video violates our community guidelines for any of the below reasons, please flag it immediately and give as much detail as you can.
- Content is not fitness/wellness related
- Sexual content (porn/nudity)
- Harmful or dangerous acts
- Harassment (hate speech/threats
- Child abuse
- Criminal activity
- Terrorism (dangerous organizations)
- Privacy (doxing/copyrights)
Time stamping the violation and adding additional details makes it a lot easier for our team to find and understand the violation.
How to flag
Whether you’re browsing or watching content, you’ll see a flag option in either the video pop-out (under Settings) or the video page. If you feel this video violates our community guidelines for any of the below reasons, please flag it immediately and give as much detail as you can.
The Somble team reviews the content against our Community Guidelines. These guidelines are very explicit and leave little room for interpretation. In cases where interpretation is required, Somble reserves the sole right to determine if the content is in violation of the guidelines.
If we deem the content to be in violation of the guidelines, many things can happen. First time offenders may find their flagged content has been taken down, while repeat or particularly severe offenders may find their content removed and their account suspended, or in some cases even terminated entirely.
Perhaps most importantly: if your content has been flagged, it does not mean it will be immediately taken down. It means it will be reviewed by the Kyltr team who will determine the appropriate course of action.
